Kathryn Hoffman has represented clients on more than 50 film and television projects during the past 21 years. She also handled special insurance placements for the Academy Awards and the Grammys from 2001 through 2010, all concerts for one of the nation's largest concert promoters for the past five years, the 2008 Democratic National Convention, and many other events.
She manages a wide range of entertainment industry risks for independent films, television, commercial and documentary producers, concert promoters, venues, special events and contingency business (event cancellation & prize indemnity).
Before joining DeWitt Stern she was with Marsh; previously, she worked for Speare and Company and Truman Van Dyke Company.
Risk and Insurance Magazine has named her a Power Broker in Entertainment and Media, as well as in Sports and Entertainment. She is a member of the North American Contingency Association.
