Valerie specializes in both personal and commercial insurance programs for clients in the fine arts and wine-related communities. She has been with DeWitt Stern since 2006 and previously was with Marsh.

Valerie has more than 25 years of professional insurance experience including two years with Johnson and Higgins in Shanghai.

Currently she is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Museum of Mexican Art and is a member of the American Association of Museums and the Chicago Architectural Foundation. She is a past board member of the Chicago Sinfonietta, Chicago Conservation Center, and the Chicago Artists Coalition.
