Steven directs four of DeWitt Stern's Divisions in New York: Fine Art, Commercial, Private Client and Financial-Professional.   He has more than 28 years of experience in these areas.

Before joining DeWitt Stern, he was President of Rockefeller Risk Advisors, Inc., a firm owned by the Rockefeller family, specializing in insurance for commercial real estate, high-net-worth families, fine art, and not-for-profit companies.

He is a member of The American Association of Museums Registrar's Committee and the Advisory Board of the Appraisers Association of America. Steven is a guest lecturer at Sotheby's Institute of Art Graduate Program and has lectured at Teacher's College and the NYU Art Law Day. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Bryant University.
