Jolyon joined DeWitt Stern in 1963, and in 1974 became President -- the third generation to lead the century-old firm. He is the grandson of DeWitt H. Stern, the founder of DeWitt Stern. Directly after graduating from Oberlin College, he joined Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, where he learned the business from an underwriter's perspective.
In addition to building the firm's reputation for placing innovative commercial and personal insurance programs, Jolyon established DeWitt Stern as the premier insurance broker in the entertainment and fine arts worlds.
Jolyon is a member of the Board of Trustees of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, the New Dramatists, and the Princeton Club Foundation; a Director of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce, and is on the Board of the Hans Christian Andersen Storytelling Center.
