Holly Payne on Steel Commander (owners Amelia and Larry Ross)
Horses can be costly and, in particular, require special expertise in insuring for increase in value as they are trained, as well as for mortality and injury, and during transport.
The insurance needed for a family farm or horse farm is quite different from a homeowner's policy. A homeowner's policy is not designed to cover the equipment needed for operating a farm or for personal livestock and horses. Your farm owner's program must provide comprehensive insurance for livestock, buildings, farm machinery and equipment, as well as for farm workers and groomsmen.
