For the purposes of insurance coverage, a claim has not been reported until it has been filed with the insurance carrier in accordance with the terms of the insurance policy. The Dewitt Stern Group Claims Department is available to assist you with the notification process and in the event of a loss, will make every effort to file the claim and acknowledge that this has been done within 48 hours of your report. If you do not receive an acknowledgment from Dewitt Stern within 48 hours, or by start of the next business day, you must follow up by calling 212-867-3550. Your failure to follow up can result in claims processing delay or denial of insurance coverage.


Our responsibility is to guide you through the claim process, clear the way through the maze of insurer requirements and help you obtain a satisfactory resolution of your claim. We're your advocate to the insurance company.
